Laura Maxwell, ‘Wicca would have been something I’d have naturally gravitated towards if I hadn’t found Jesus when I did. As a new ager and a spiritualist, the beliefs, especially about nature and animals would have definately appealed to me. So, I do see the appeal of all the various types of Witchcraft and can also understand why it’s saw a huge growth in recent decades and especially recent years. The bible predicts all of this as we know.
It saddens me because I feel masses of people are spiritually hungry and seeking. But tragically, they often find churches are dry and unfriendly, lack any real spiritual power or presence of God, thus these seekers will obviously turn elsewhere. That’s only natural! It’s our responsibility to reflect Jesus, not misrepresent Him thus turn them further away from Him! We need to show them the truth, love and power of Jesus.’
