Our Beginnings.
“As an Ex-Spiritualist from Scotland, ancestral home of ancient-pagan Celts and Druids, and Samhain occult festival – main roots of Halloween, it’s been a blessing to share powerful testimonies throughout this blog over the past fifteen years,” Laura Maxwell writes.

The below Testimony Tracts are appropriate for teenagers and adults. They contain first-person accounts from those who practiced Witchcraft, New Age spiritualities, or other forms of Occultism. They were later saved from such spiritual darkness and delivered from evil spirits by Jesus Christ.
Suitable for sharing with anyone – family, friends and neighbours. Also for use at outreach events anytime of year but especially during the season of Halloween and Day of The Dead.
Excellent for handing to those who plan going to Haunted Houses, Ghost-Hunting Tours, Tarot or Psychic Nights, Witchcraft Festivals, Halloween parties, or Day of The Dead celebrations.
Why This Is Important.
This may seem irrelevant but Paganism and Witchcraft are not harmless. Sadly, they became more acceptable in western society since the 1960’s. Now mainstream in recent years. Having left the Occult thirty years ago, like many Ex-Occultists, I’ve watched this grow worldwide – in society and even the church, just as the Bible predicts for End-times.
Since 1996, I’ve shared, how communication with so called ‘ghosts and spirit guides’ led to my mother and I being attacked, then to her tragic suicide. Over the past thirty years I’ve learned such outcomes are not unique, yet so taboo they’re rarely mentioned!
Research statistics prove at least 70% of today’s youth, including church-goers have been invited to try occult practices like Tarot Cards and ‘channeling spirits.’ Therefore, it’s highly likely and not a stretch to imagine that your loved ones or neighbours have, or soon could be tempted, or affected by dangerous paranormal activities. So, will you know how to lovingly respond in a helpful way? Our tracts can help!
Common Themes in Testimonies from Ex-Mediums, Ex-Witches, etc.
• Entry Points: Many describe entering the occult during periods of deep personal trauma, family dysfunction, grief, or a search for identity and control in their youth. They’re usually introduced via friends or relatives, a casual interest in astrology, meditation, reiki and energy healing, tarot, yoga, or Ouija Board use. They often say such interest or introductions to the Occult tended to peak during the season of Halloween and Day of The Dead.
• Progression into Darkness: What initially began as curiosity, self-help, “New Age or White Magic,” often escalated, into severe anxiety, sleep paralysis, depression, and suicidal ideation, along with terrifying spiritual oppression and attacks from evil spirits.
• The Turning Point: Most testimonies centre on a dramatic moment of intervention—such as an unexpected peaceful encounter with Jesus, demons leaving at the mention of His name, a reading from the Bible, or a deliverance/prayer session at a church, echoing Acts 16:16-18 where an evil spirit of divination was cast out of a Fortune-Teller.
• Post-Conversion Life: Converts typically describe burning or throwing away occult items (books, crystals, tarot cards, etc), echoing Acts 19:19. They experience a profound sense of peace and return to mental clarity. They also join a Christian community.
• Supportive Communities: Within some evangelical and Christian circles, these testimonies are widely shared as powerful proofs of Christ’s Lordship, His redemption and victory in spiritual warfare.
