How to test the true identity of all spirits, alleged dead relatives or pet animals, so called Spirit Guides, dead saints, Angels, Aliens, Ascended Masters, Fairies, etc –
In the supernatural realms, all that glitters is not gold! You’ll have noticed an increase in workshops teaching the public how to contact their angel, use Angel Cards, how to become Light Workers & Healers. Or classes in how to become Mediums and attempt to contact ‘dead’ people or animals.
If you buy New Age magazines, you’ll have noticed classes in seeking guidance from a wider range of spiritual beings, such as fairies, unicorns and other mythological creatures.
Do you seek psychic communication with so called fairies? Have you ever challenged them in Christ’s Name?
1 John:4
‘Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.’ 1 John:4
Angel Of Light ? Don’t be mislead. Great evil is often veiled by great deception. Things that give the appearance of being good can sometimes be just the opposite. ‘… for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.’ (Bible, 2 Corinthians 11:14).
2 Corinthians 11:14-15
‘And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.’
An explanation of this & practical advice on how to test and challenge every entity that appears to you, is offered below. In summary, the above verse warns us, that Satan & his demons can appear to us, impersonating one of God’s angels, or a dead relative, etc. Spirits are masters of disguise and can morph or change their identity easily, falsely claiming to be someone.
Aliens or Demons in disguise?
Think of ‘shape-shifters’ in movies, how convincingly they can persuade others their appearance isn’t a fake disguise, but genuine!
If any so called ‘angel’ ever appears to you, please properly test it, for your own safety and to ensure that he truly is one of God’s angels.
Whether an entity appears to be just a ‘healing energy,’ an angel, an orb, a dead or alive human or animal spirit, fairy, alien, spirit guide, unicorn or any mythological creature, etc, test it!
What’s truely behind that ‘fairy’ door? Have you ever challenged them in Christ’s Name?
Even if it’s energies feel as if it’s full of peace and love, please still challenge it.
Even if it claims to be an angel or person from the Bible, such as Gabriel or Isaiah, still test it!
Even if it’s appeared to you daily for the past 20 years, please test it.
You’d be surprised how many people have done this and told me so!
By testing it, I’m not endorsing having a discussion with it, but rather a confrontation!
Test the spirits
1. Firstly, pray to Jesus Christ, asking Him to send His Holy Spirit to help you.
2. Then ask the entity to declare these statements to you : That the Jesus Christ of The Bible, has already come to our earth in the flesh, died on Calvary’s Cross for our eternal salvation and remission of our sins. That He is the Saviour, His blood cleanses us from sin, and is the way we are allowed entry to heaven.
A demon will not be able to declare those statements politely to you! Instead, he will argue and become hostile, even violent, and possibly scream obscenities. If the ‘angel,’ or any entity fails this test, then just command it to immediately leave you, in the name of Jesus Christ. And it will vanish!
Don’t be concerned that a true angel of the Lord may be offended. If he truely has come from Jesus, he won’t be offended at all. And if he leaves, then this emphasizes he was from satan and it’s best he left anyway, offended or not!
The Blood of Jesus will never lose its power!
3. Declare a few scriptures to the entity. As they are the words of God, they contain explosive spiritual power in such spiritual warfare situations.
Every entity knows the scriptures and will react in ways that reveal their true identity.
Here are a few that I especially like, as demons seem to particularly hate them!
The spiritual dynamite power of the Holy Bible.
Philippians 2:9-11 ‘Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father’. (That includes the knee & tongue of every demon, on Judgment Day! No wonder they hate this verse).
Colossians 2:15 ‘And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.’ (As every angel and demon – ‘spiritual powers & authorities’, were at Calvary’s Cross, watching Christ’s cruxifiction, they still remember it and how His atoning sacrifice as the world’s Saviour occurred that day).
Romans 10:9
Revelation 19:13-16 ‘He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean … On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: King of kings and Lord of lords.’
Revelation 20:10 ‘And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.’
4. Lastly, Thank the Lord Jesus, for revealing the truth to you. If you followed those steps and the angel was from Jesus, it will have agreed with all you said. If however, it was a deceiving spirit, it will have showed it’s true colours and became furious and possibly obnoxious. Often, their false mask disappears, to reveal their true evil face beneath.

5. Does ‘the test’ not always work for you?
Yes, that test can be inconclusive at times. Demons are so deceptive and can even deceive bible believers too. Remember through the New Testament there are warnings to the churches about being spiritually deceived!
It also says believers will heal the sick, cast out demons and speak in tongues, but yet they don’t ALL do that today, or even did it in the past!!! So, it’s not that the bible is wrong, it’s just we humans often fall short of following it through. Rather, than doubting the bible’s explanation of such deceiving spirits, doubt your own ability to ‘test them!’
Sadly, it does depend on each believer and how far they grow in their intimacy with Jesus and the bible and thus their power of spiritual gifts, or lack of them.
What I’ve noticed is that there will be more of a demonic reaction from them, when ‘tested’ by a Christian who is anointed powerfully with the presence and power of Jesus in their life, someone who is used to doing healing, miracles, casting out demons, etc. Because then, the demons can’t resist as much and will show their true nature.
Myself and others have been called to homes where the Christians there thought it was really ‘ghosts,’ for example, and had endured it for years, but when we went these demons morphed into their true appearance and the Christians saw that and also saw the demons leave when myself or friends told them too. This hadn’t happened until I got there.
This has happened repeatedly, whether the demon pretends to be an ascended master, reiki healing spirit guide, or whatever. Yes, some people, even committed Christians can test them in Jesus name and the entity will chat away with them, say Jesus is indeed their Lord and even quote the bible! But get a more powerful Christian along, and often just them walking into the room, that same entity will start to growl, etc, before he/she has even said Jesus name!
Any believer can actually walk in that power, it’s just that not many are willing to put in the sacrifice of daily bible reading, praying, and so on. Or they just don’t seek Jesus for His gift of healing, casting demons out, etc.
I’ve also met deliverance ministers who did even cast demons out and yet were still deceived, thinking they were sometimes talking with ‘ghosts.’ I explained gently to them, that the demons know when you accept them and fail to believe the scriptures about them, thus can use that to their advantage. After sharing the scriptures, I implored these ministers to make a decision. Believe and obey the bible, or not. Some of them got back to me later and said that they found it was true……the alleged ‘ghosts’ they had spoken with, did indeed morph into demons!
We are all learning and can make mistakes and get deceived. Once you see the truth, please repent to Jesus and get the spirit of error and deceiving spirits and their curses cast away from you and your family. I have had to do this too. Jesus wants us all to be free indeed! He loves us. Amen!
6. The Ultimate Test.
Thus, the ultimate test, if you are a Christian, is not quoting bible verses to see if the entity will reveal it’s true nature! The ultimate test is, will you believe, obey, and act upon what the bible says of evil spirits, or will you prefer to rely on spiritual experiences and your human logic, both of which can be deceiving and subjective, even if powerful and convincing!
As a Christian, will you continue to ignore biblical instructions to take no part in spirit communication, divination and so on? See Deuteronomy 18:10-12.

10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. 11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. 12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
If you’re not a believer, you probably don’t believe the bible and that’s understandable. When I was a new ager and spiritualist, I didn’t either. But you can research apologetics resources online that provide sound evidence proving that the bible, and Jesus Christ really are legitimate and that there’s even historical proof He really did die on the cross and rise again!

Ex Spiritualist Medium: Lyn’s Testimony.
Also, please read the below extract from Ex Spiritualist Medium, Lyn’s testimony, as it gives a practical example of how to test the spirits. What she describes is something I hear a lot from others world-wide, so her story is not unique, yet usually kept quiet amongst New Agers or Occultists.
“I was able to put a face to the voices I heard, they were of young people, old people, children, every time I mentioned my nephew to my Christian freind she would say, ‘Lyn its not your nephew, those are not dead relatives, they are all demons.’ I said, ‘Dont you dare call my nephew a demon and how do you know they arent loved ones passed over?’ She said, ‘Lyn I dare you the next time you see your so called nephew to tell him to reveal himself in Jesus name!’
So one night I did. He changed from a young child to this hideous thing! My face would change when ever the spirits inside me took over. I had been seeing a shrink because of me hearing voices and seeing things and they put me on many medications but none seemed to work …
… I called out to God and asked Him to forgive me and accept me as I am. I cried for two hours. He heard my cry.
This of course angered the spirits even more, and the ones who I thought were dead loved ones turned on me,they started banging things around my flat, I would put things down and when I turned around it would be missing, they would wake me up by screaming in my ears, pull my pictures off the wall and attacked me while I slept.
I have got rid of all my occult stuff, turned my back on all my involvement in the occult and darkness and now walking in the light!
10th of April 2012 I went for ministry … I am now free! I no longer hear the voices! I feel like I have lost 20 stones, my friends have said that my face looks so much brighter and even my voice has changed! I feel so much peace. I thank my Lord Jesus Christ for the freedom He has given me!

Ex Medium/Ex Witch – Ghost Hunter.
A comment from my friend Kristine, an EX Medium/EX Witch & EX Ghost Hunter, author & guest TV speaker on The 700 Club, USA. ‘I’m a former Medium and Ghost Hunter who was brought up in the church, became a Christian as a young child, but walked away into Witchcraft and the above practices mentioned, for eight years. As a Medium I had multiple Spirit Guides, who seemed benevolent at the time, but what I came to learn is their guidance was a deception.
I also sought to work with only those which were positive beings, or “highest light,” but they were, as the Bible declares familiar/demonic spirits “masquerading as angels of light.” I’ve written a number of articles on my former experiences as a Medium and Ghost Hunter (as well as Witchcraft). One thing I would ask you to keep in mind – you have no real way of knowing if the spirits and guides you communicate with are genuinely who they say they are. Ex Tarot Card Reader.
Another friend Tina Storey comments, ‘I used to be a Tarot Card Reader and didn’t even suspect I was tied to any spirits. It was when I tried to throw the cards away, that a spirit started to force me into trance, against my will. It was then, that I began to question the nature of such spirits.
This spirit came to me at a Holy Communion Church Service and fled, as soon as we begun to sing to Jesus Christ. It has never been back. Anything which flees from Christ is of the Anti-Christ.
I think it’s worth thinking over the fact that we are actually not in control of these beings – they will let you believe you are in control – and then show their true demonic natures when you try to break your tie to them.
When they begin to harass and attack, you realise just how limited we are in a physical body, they have the obvious advantage over us, being spirit beings. They may be more powerful than us, but they will never be more powerful than Jesus Christ, and it’s Jesus who loves us. These spirits do not love us, they are devoid of love and are only out to destroy.
Here’s a brilliant little book which I found so helpful when I decided to leave the Occult. It doesn’t cost much and is really worth reading. This guy used to be a Medium, then he decided to test the spirits – in the name of Jesus, they reacted violently and he learned that these are actually demonic beings. He later became a Baptist Minister.’ Tina Storey.

Hey Youngshlab….my friend Laura has explored the occult and embraced it deeply, until she discovered that it was a deception. The most fundamental issue is epistemological–how do we acquire knowledge/truth re the spirit realm? Is it via human speculation or divine revelation? In His kindness and love, the Living God has spoken to us re matters we could never discover on our own. The notion of absolute truth is not popular today, but Jesus Himself embraced the bible as true truth. I humbly ask that you review the literature that shows that the Bible is indeed the Word of God. Occultism is man’s search for truth, but Jesus IS the truth. Ask God to guide you and He will!!

To write-off all occultist practices as being negative and dangerous is to do a disservice to the spiritual realm and potentially other people whom would find themselves in that as well. Christianity as a whole is as equally if not more misled than the psychodelic/spiritualist/rave/occult movements in that they don’t choose to devote themselves exclusively to interpreting the teachings of a millenia-old, twice – transcribed piece of only sometimes-historical, mostly allegorical literature. Undeniably, a selfless being lived life on the face of planet earth whom held 12 disciples and died on a cross to show us our benevolent creator’s love, but existential selfishness and avarice are the truest evils this world may know. Love, cooperation, and understanding will always outweigh those things; many people simply have yet to be brought back out into the full light of our creator’s love.

Christians can be misled when they do not follow Christ as they should, but Christ exemplified the standard of love. But love does not mean acceptance of evil and Jesus denounced evil, telling us that it begins in our hearts. Jesus also said that he is the way – he does not show the way, but is the way – to God, who sent him to earth. But we can’t love and have understanding on our own because of the evil that is naturally in men’s hearts. That is why one must turn from one’s self as the source of strength and truth and to Christ, the way to God, having faith in him for eternal life. Being a Christian is living in dependence on Christ.
Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” John 7:37-38

This was a very genuine comment and I can appreciate its details, I believe you speak from your heart and that you are an individual who seeks after peace and love, which are things tis earth desperately needs in a very major way. Nevertheless, I must respectably and in love disagree with much of what you have said and I’ll explain why.
I have found, from my own personal experiences as well the experiences of others, it is never we who conduct any kind of a “disservice” to the spiritual realm or to human beings for occult practices, simply because it is already a disservice in and of itself. When I explored the occult and studied various forms of magick and occult philosophy, I discovered something quite profound which was, I never truly escaped the maze of conformity but simply made useful its hypothetical “prison cell” with the numerous varieties of escape, or further its liberation, power, and control over life and its ultimate truth, which I had never really found until I knew Christ for who and what He truly is.
Of course, one could say I am “misled” but am I really? If you believe this, consider also that by your own words do you acknowledge that Christ walked the earth with 12 disciples and died upon a cross. You freely admitted to believing this. Yet, if we can believe that much, why then disbelieve the rest of the details of the Christ story? Ghandi believed in Jesus Christ also, he even loved many of the Gospel teachings, up until we get to the part which says He was the Messiah, or the Son of God. People will cast that off as wrong, but acknowledge the rest? How convenient since that which is cast off is the most important part to believe about Jesus.
Many areas of the occult and philosophy remind me of something spoken by H.P Blavatsky which is “There is no religion higher than truth.” What I find amazing is, she acknowledged that humanity is in desperate need of the truth, yet, only beheld a concept of it, as most into spiritualism, the occult, philosophy, etc. Most of us know a truth is out there, it is the absolute to every other truth process in existence, and preexisted all of them. Its a never-ending process, and it reveals itself in countless formations, it stirs the emotions, awakens senses, and motivates the human mind to search for it. It is the whole reason we have a heart that beats and a soul that is in us, and it is the force behind the steps we take in life, but this truth will also never violate our choices, and this is because each step we take must be sincere and genuine, because otherwise we will never have love, and LOVE pleases the Creator, who I call God. Love never fails (it says this in 1 Corinthians 13:8). We see this in human nature, as we can love something good or something evil, and destiny will determine the faithfulness we had for that love, be it good or evil, holy or unholy, good or bad, alive or dead.
Perhaps some of the bible is “allegorical” as you stated, but what I fond as a phenomenon which cannot be explained is how allegory fulfills prophecy. Andhow does allegory also fulfill miracles, prayers, and faith as it exists in us? There is something far more than simple allegory going on, and to deny this is simply not being realistic. And believe me, prior to becoming a Christian was I among the most severe bible bashers one could know. I do agree as far as what you stated on “Love” which is the permanent remedy for more things than we realize as human beings. True love never fails and gives us the strength and the courage to overcome the highest mountains in life. It is the nature of God, God is love, and love endures all things, it perseveres, overcomes and it conquers.

Hi…I have been browsing the internet for over an hour. I rarely log on, Today is Memorial Day! I have within the last 3 years been practicing/dabbling wit witchcraft,tarot cards. I have a strong keen sense of peoples energy and who they are. I have been in a mentally bad relationship, which we have two children from. I was told in my relationship not to read or believe in the bible, not to get my children baptised. I obeyed, Just within the last 3 years I left this relationship. My spirit…I don’t know..I just knew it was time. We have always been interested in new age. I met him at 15 0r 16, I use to read a lot of astrology things. He was always deeper into his studies and older. So I have NEVER read the bible He taught me/us not to believe in Jesus. But, I know GOD exist!! Even through all the hatred in the world!! He exist!! I love him!! I am Catholic, I attended school/church up to about the 5th grade.
About a year ago, I purchased some tarot cards and have been using them for myself. I also began praying and communicating/trying/dabbling with spirits who I choose to communicate with. At one point my ex stayed here with me at my new house for about a year. Cause…I just moved about three years ago. I learned that my ex was burning black candles,drawing stuff. Now my dabbling involves white candles or different colors, never black. My spirit felt a great discomfort and ease in my house. I began not to like him, it turned me off. A lot of hollering,arguing. He would never tell me what he was doing!! I recently a bout three months ago, I went and visited a psychic for the first time. I dont know, She told me some information pertaining to my landlord passing and how I SAY I feel his presence with me at times in the house. I will either be decorating/moving. Well, It’s decorating!! She also told me how the young lady my ex was involved with put a curse on me. She also told me my current boyfriend and I will break up this year. I can see it now coming, She told me I opened a door, he and I both did. Stop using my tarot cards. Last but not least I have a dark energy attached to me and she can see it and it’s causing many problems in my life and I need to reverse the spell in order to clear the energy block. Thing is the candles cost $100 a piece and I need 9 of them. Then I got a thought come over me, she is full of it. Im going to see someone else. She goes you don’t wanna, not so much my exact thought. She was smart she twisted it a little. But, basically what I was thinking.
I never took her the money, needless to say. Past year or so, Ive been struggling with wanting to go to church. I feel this sensation..this need that God is calling me. I’m struggling with trying to understand and..I don’t know. Every time it’s time, I say I’m going. Something..happens. Is that the dark energy holding me back. I have stopped with my tarot cards for about 4 months now. Nothing strange has happened that I see. I really cant tell since my life situation is so hard right now anyway.

I met a TV famous medium on my street, I stopped and asked why my door bell was ringing (but no one was there). The medium answered it was my father, who loves me.
To prove it was my father, the medium, while holding my hand (and then release it), said I had pain in my left shoulder (I hardly knew myself) and that I havent finished painting my home (also correct).
He also explained a dear ones death. I cried. Before I left, the medium told me to work and make a lot of money. Strange I thought, but I was struggling with my motivation for work.
Next day, the door bell rang again, at the same time as it has previous days. No one there. I sat down, asked “my father” what do you want. I didnt feel anything so I just went on doing other things.
Very shortly after, I found a message on my answering machine that I was not sure if I had responded to or not.
The man answered, and we start talking, he had called me months before, so my call was too late. The conversation went from business to private. Im not sure if he told me first that he was christian (and that time autumn 2011 I was not christian myself) or if I started out to share my experience with the medium and my door bell.
He said it might not be what I think it is. He asked if he could pray in the name of Jesus to have the spirit let me be. I accepted and he prayed for me over the phone.
After this prayer the door bell stopped ringing. I had another strange thing occuring some months later, when an alarm clock went bazooka but Im not sure why, I got a sudden head ache so I called him again, and he prayed for me.
Since then, I found my way through political and world issues, to the Bible and Jesus Christ.
Im very thankful!
People in this world are so occupied by making money. And you cant serve to Gods, the real god or the mammon. Why the spirit wanted me to work and make lots of money, doesnt seem like something my dead father would say as something important, but something the evil want me to focus on.

Thanks Laura for sharing this timely and pertinent post. The Days of Noah are fast approaching with the rise of vampires, necromancy, Witchcraft, and the deceptions of New Age-Occult false teachings. The media bombards our young people with sexual acts and violence forming many ungodly soul-ties that allow demons to transfer from one partner to another. The spiritual void in our young people is being filled with the kingdom of darkness, and it is time for God’s Prayer warriors to rise up and speak with authority to these demonic angels the Word of God, allowing God’s true angels of light to do their work in the hearts of these precious souls.
