Ex Occultist Caleb Keogh from Glasgow, Scotland.

My local friend, Ex Occultist Caleb Keogh from Glasgow, my city, in Scotland, introduces his testimony, new blog and YouTube channel PILGRIM JUST PILGRIM. His resources originate from his past involvement and research into the occult and his current Christian Truther worldview.

I remember telling him about 4 years ago I could just imagine him doing this and I’ve nagged him to start ever since! Praise God for these open doors for my brother and may many souls come to Jesus through his ministry.

In the video, you see him swapping two machetes for two bibles!

I was very honoured that Caleb’s first time sharing his testimony online was actually through this blog. Since then, he’s kindly submitted more of his articles for my blog. (See link below).

Caleb has been a guest on Hybrary TV several times, interviewed by founder Vall Owens. of  Jacksonville, Florida.

Caleb was also one of Hybrary TV’s first hired hosts. He’s conducted around 5 interviews so far. Hybrary TV is an online digital library, a new alternative to the YouTube platform. http://thehybrary.tv/

Another UFO Religious Cult Exposed: Background of Marshall Vian Summers by Norio Hayakawa.

Norio F.Hayakawa was a guest on the Coast to Coast radio show with George Noory. He has researched the UFO phenomenon since around 1961. He is one of the original Team Members of the world’s largest reality-based online resource on Area 51. In 1990 he organized a network called the Civilian Intelligence Network and began to conduct a thorough research on Area 51 in Nevada.

Another UFO religious cult exposed – the background of Marshall Vian Summers.

By Norio F.Hayakawa CIVILIAN INTELLIGENCE NEWS SERVICE

Marshall Vian Summers

The New Message from God, a new religious movement from the United States, originates from the teachings and pronouncements of Marshall Vian Summers, who is called “The Messenger.”

Summers and his adherents represent that he is a prophet on the order of the Buddha, Jesus, and Muhammad, in receipt of a revelation over a period of 30 years which he has recorded on tape and which, transcribed, approaches ten thousand pages.

Key components of this ‘revelation’, attributed to ‘divine sources’, include warnings of an incursion upon Earth called the Intervention, and pronouncements about the future involving global upheaval and interaction between the human race and extraterrestrials which, Summers claims, are from “The Greater Community.”

To promote these ‘revelations’, in 1992 Summers founded The Society for the Greater Community Way of Knowledge, trading as The Society for the New Message from God, a 501(c) religious non-profit organization which is both publisher of Summers’ books and recordings and a religious order.

The New Message Sanctuary in Boulder, Colorado, USA, a gathering place for The Society, broadcasts services via the Internet and since 2012 has presented its materials on line as part of a free school claiming 2,352 participants from 104 nations.

ANOTHER UFO RELIGIOUS CULT EXPOSED – – WHO IS MARSHALL VIAN SUMMERS?

by Robert Todd Carroll, THE SKEPTIC’S DICTIONARY:

http://skepdic.com/summers.html

(QUOTE)

Marshall Vian Summers has been claiming to be a prophet of some god who sends him messages via what he calls “the Angelic Presence.”

He says he’s been a prophet since 1982 and has written down more than 9,000 pages of the usual spiritual pabulum, updated to fit the times with messages about saving the planet from ecological disaster and invasions of evil aliens in UFOs.

In typical vague prophetese, Summers says:

“A Greater Darkness is in the world. It is unlike anything that humanity has ever faced before. Contact has begun, but it is Contact with a dark purpose. In addition, we are facing converging waves of great change—climate change, environmental deterioration, diminishing food and energy resources and the growing threat of conflict and war.

My message has come from the Angels of the Creator who are urgently attempting to enable humanity to recognize this and to prepare for encountering these new realities with wisdom and sobriety. These are the greatest events in human history, but humanity is unprepared.”

It seems humanity is always unprepared for what lies ahead, yet it also seems that a good portion of humanity is always prepared to open their hearts and pocketbooks to prophets of doom who claim a connection with something “great and mysterious.”

Such messages seem to resonate with people who aren’t comfortable in this world, which they find overrun with evil and lacking in compassion. We better change our ways or we’re doomed. If we change our ways, though, we will be part of great New Age:

“The New Message from God is a genuine communication from the Creator that has come at a time of great change, conflict and upheaval. Received over a 30-year period by the Messenger Marshall Vian Summers, this revelation is not based upon any existing religious tradition or spiritual teaching. The New Message honors the enduring truth in all the great Messages that the Creator has ever given to the world yet it is unlike anything that has been revealed to humanity before. It is a new revelation about the real nature of human spirituality, the great change that is coming to the world and humanity’s future and destiny within a Greater Community of intelligent life in the universe.”

Wouldn’t you like to be part of this Greater Community? Remember, this is a “genuine” revelation.

How do we know that it’s genuine?

Summers says he knows it because he has no doubts.

*** PLEASE SEE Laura Maxwell‘s COMMENT ON TESTING THE VALIDITY OF SUCH REVELATION AT THE FOOT OF THIS ARTICLE! ***

… He has no doubts. That might be good enough for him, but shouldn’t the rest of us be given some sort of sign that he’s not just making up this stuff?

Others, he says, will know it’s genuine if they just read the messages; they will recognize “the Knowledge” and “know that I am being genuine with you.”

What if we won’t bother to read the messages because we’re pretty confident that Summers is either an outright spiritual fraud or another in a long line of deluded people claiming to get messages from beyond?

What if we do read the 9,000 pages and come away convinced that Summers is deranged and just passing on his fantasies mixed in with messages religious people like to hear, especially religious people with deep concerns about UFOs and government conspiracies to keep us in the dark?

I guess those of us who are skeptical of Summers’s claim that he is a messenger from some god are doomed.

Maybe the evil aliens will take us up in some sort of negative rapture or whirlwind.

Who knows? But we can be sure we will not be invited to be part of the Greater Community and its bounty of intelligence, wisdom, joy, and all things great and good.

I have been unable to find out anything of interest about Summers’s life before he started claiming he was a prophet.

One source, Bret Lueder, has posted an undated interview he did with Summers.

The only bit of personal biography revealed, though, is that Summers was born on January 28th, 1949; was raised as an Episcopalian in Berkeley, California; and later moved to Colorado.

He says he was just living his life as a spiritual teacher in California as a pioneer of Inner Guidance Training, making music recordings and being a loving husband and father when he was contacted by what he calls the Angelic Presence.

He says that he has since moved to Colorado and has written 20 books from this presence with his first book, Steps to Knowledge, being given to him for transcription over a 12-day period in December of ’89.

The Inner Guidance Training referred to was trademarked by Summers in 1990 and described as some sort of educational service that provides “spiritual instruction and text and manuals used therewith.”

The rest of the interview is about The Way of Knowledge (“ancient spiritual teaching that focuses on the greater intelligence that we all possess that resides beneath our analytical and thinking minds”) and his book about UFOs and aliens, good and bad.

I couldn’t think of a better description for this “greater intelligence” than that it lurks beneath our thinking minds. The good aliens are described in the title of his book: Allies of Humanity. The bottom line?

There is an unquestioned belief that the aliens are enlightened beings; that they are here to help us, enhance our genetic makeup, to uplift us, to somehow shepherd us to some kind of higher state. But the Allies say very clearly that this is the deception.

Is Summers a fraud or deluded?

Personally, I lean toward the latter, given the years that he has zealously devoted to writing these messages and spreading his words.

What about the possibility that he is genuinely getting messages from some god via some sort of angelic presence?

Well, the likelihood that there are any gods or angels is negligible, despite the almost universal superstition regarding spirits and invisible beings, both good and evil.

So, the likelihood that the messages Summers gets are from a spirit is on par with the likelihood that James Van Praagh, John Edward, or the thousands of other “spiritual mediums” are getting genuine messages from dead people’s spirits.

Will some people find comfort and solace in the messages of Summers?

Of course. Some may even find them to be inspiring.

Does that mean they were genuine? No. Is the Society for the New Message from God, founded by Summers in 1992, a cult?

I don’t know, but one sure sign those considering joining Summers should look for is this: are you being encouraged to separate yourself from your family and friends who don’t accept the authenticity of the prophet?

If you are, run for the exit.

Whatever comfort you are given by the charisma, joy, love, caring, and seeming wisdom of Summers or others trying to recruit you, it will not last, it is not genuine, and you will eventually regret the day you gave your mind over to a charlatan.

In any case, I’d be wary of someone who says that everything happens according to some god’s will, but many people aren’t living according to the plan; so, the god chose me to reveal to the people how to get back on track.

Frankly, the revelation shouldn’t be necessary if everything happens according to the god’s will.

I’d also wonder why any god would pick an Episcopalian from Berkeley to be the New Messenger.

Did the god pick him at random? Was the choice meant to reveal the god’s sense of humor? Do we have to read his messages in reverse to get the real “truth”? Is there a hidden code in the messages that only special people can figure out? In the end, I’m left bewildered and somewhat saddened by contemplating what kind of void Mr. Summers must fill to have followers around the globe.

For your viewing edification: Patricia Summers on Walking With the Messenger (She tells us her husband is “stable” and “sane.” I’m not so sure about her, though.):

P.S.

(At the present moment there seems to be some speculation on Facebook that Summers is impersonating a UFO researcher by the name of Trevor Wozny (a.k.a., The Angry Ufologist – – http://www.theangryufologist.us – – or that Trevor Wozny is impersonating Summers. Trevor Wozny has not come forward yet admitting that he is Summers.)

Laura Maxwell‘s Comment:

You may be convinced such ‘communication’ is genuinely from aliens or light-based entities but how can you be certain such beings are benevolent? Please see my numerous blog articles of true stories where people Tested the Spirits in Jesus Name to reveal their true evil identity.

Please, don’t just assume they are telling you the truth! Please also see Spirits impersonate the LIVING too or my TV and radio interviews where myself and others elaborate on this in greater detail.

Are we alone? UFO’S and Alien beings – A Closer Look – Part 3: Alien Intrusion – The Movie!

From the producers of the Award-Winning Documentary Evolution’s Achilles’ Heels which has been described as one of the most powerful refutations of evolution ever produced.

Alien Intrusion : The Movie!

Anticipated release date—Christmas 2017.

When I interviewed Joseph G. Jordan for a six part series on my show The Supernatural with Laura Maxwell he told me of the production of this movie by his friend Gary Bates.

About the Alien Intrusion book which inspired the movie:

Alien Intrusion by Gary Bates

Film still

Gary Bates – An autopsy

YOU ASKED FOR IT! Now, at long last, a full-length MOVIE treatment of the Amazon top-50 selling book Alien Intrusion: UFOs and the evolution connection by the producers of Evolution’s Achilles’ Heels.

Gary Bates’s 2005 book is still the only creation book to achieve this feat.

And this is mainly due to the subject matter itself—the UFO phenomenon, fueled more than ever by modern science fiction and its portrayal of highly evolved and technologically advanced aliens traversing the galaxy, seeding and even overseeing the evolution of life on earth. People are simply fascinated by this issue, which presents itself as an ongoing mystery to be solved. Consider the plethora of cable TV series dedicated to aliens and UFOs to understand how our culture is saturated with this subject.

Such views have caused countless people to disregard the Bible’s history of origins in favour of the notion of the evolution of life occurring throughout a 14-billion-year-old universe.

The insidious side of the phenomenon.

Movie still

(Gary interviews an ‘experiencer’).

The Alien Intrusion book uncovered and confronted a much darker side to all this than is generally presented in feel-good movies such as Star Wars or Avatar. For example, one poll concluded that up to 20 million Americans had seen a UFO and possibly 4 million claimed to have been abducted by aliens. Such statistics are shocking, even to many Christians who are simply not aware.

Gary says:

“I cannot confirm if those poll numbers are correct, but I can say for sure that literally hundreds of people have contacted me, or turned up at my speaking events to share their experiences. There is no question that something is happening to these people, but the big question is always, ‘Is it really aliens? Are these entities who they claim to be?’

Movie still

(Original, top-notch animations are being crafted for the movie).

“Jesus said that He is the truth and that His truth will set people free (John 8:32). I can confirm, first-hand, that this is true. I’m aware of hundreds of examples directly related to the UFO phenomenon alone where people have been ‘set free’ through this message.”

For example, David B. wrote:

“I am writing to you, to express a very big thank you, regarding your UFO research.

“I have just finished your book Alien Intrusion (Updated & Expanded), and I must say that I found the content to be very healing. In fact, it was / is the most accurate, precise, comprehensive & tangible explanation regarding the UFO phenomenon.

Movie still

Pastor Johnny Hunt, former President of the Southern Baptist Association gives his theological perspective:

“I have been deeply traumatized by experiences which I have been too ashamed to share with others. I have been plagued from childhood, into adulthood. I had somehow become traumatized by the image of ‘Greys’ when I was a child, and I vaguely recall an abduction experience … In my early teen years I had become involved with a Christian based religious cult. … I had deep personal scars from the unexplained … experiences with entities … I had tried to reconcile my faith for a period of 6 years after leaving that Christian based cult, and it eventually got to the point where I told myself, ‘you know what, this (Christianity) does not work.’

“… I tried connecting the dots between Christianity, Buddhism, Occult Practices and whacked out conspiracy theories. I was ready to believe that the Bible was a lie.

“I still had some reservations about coming back to Christ. There was something niggling away inside telling me, ‘This all just sounds too simple. I still have a deep yearning in occult matters. I want “REAL answers”, I want to REALLY know what is happening with the World.’”

Movie still

Nick Redfern, UFO researcher featured on The History Channel, UFO Hunters and Ancient Aliens

“The last and final stage of my ‘true conversion’ came when I had finished reading the book Alien Intrusion (Updated & Expanded).

“I want to give a very big Thank You!! for all of your work in this matter. You have accurately explained what these entities are, how they operate, and have given me the clarity to regain my faith. Everything you talked about corroborates 100% with all my personal experiences, and is also in unison with all the various subject matter I have looked into. I have no doubt that the spiritual attacks I had received were all designed to alienate/separate me from God and others. They had steered me to become more and more obscure, and have been responsible for the fracturing of my mind, body, and soul.

“I am now in the process of getting to know God (properly). I acknowledge that I do need a Saviour. I have tried to live without one. It is hard, very tiring & humbling attempting to be ‘perfect’ or living, without God.”

Movie still

(These specifically designed F1 engines made the Saturn 5 rocket the most powerful craft ever built by mankind.)

A spiritual battleground

We’ve received so many testimonies like this from the book alone. The message has released many from the clutches of evil influences and into faith in Christ. For over 10 years we’ve received multiple requests to make this film, which has greater potential to reach even more. Please join us to make this happen.

Alien Intrusion (Updated & Expanded) by Gary Bates. Book available on Amazon.

Gary Bates’s 2005 book solves one of the most haunting and persistent mysteries of our time:

The evolution connection to UFOs
UFOs sighted in every country
Seen on radar
What happened at Roswell?
Government cover-ups?
Alien abductions?
Suicides in cults
Ancient astronauts?
Can UFOs travel faster than light?
A ‘new’ religion

‘When actor Richard Dreyfus gazed up into the heavens during the hit film, Close Encounters of the Third Kind audiences looked with him, in rapt attention. Alien encounters cropped up like, well, crop circles. More films were released. Books detailed alleged abductions. NASA funded SETI, an effort to make contact with civilizations from other worlds. But is all this valid? Are there really alien civilizations in our vast universe? In Alien Intrusion, Gary Bates gives a thorough treatment of this fascinating subject. What is behind the numerous sightings from around the world? Does the U.S. Government have evidence of alien craft? Can we hope to make contact in our lifetime? The author comes from an unapologetic Christian perspective, but lets the facts speak for themselves. His expertise on the subject and ability to ‘cover the bases’ has earned widespread respect – even from many in the ‘UFOlogy community’ who may be uncomfortable with the startling conclusions to which he inevitable leads the reader. This was especially evident during an amazing three-hour interview with George Noory on Coast to Coast. This invaluable book will help Christians understand the issues, and be able to intelligently answer questions and engage in dialogue with a culture sure were are being watched from space. Heavily illustrated with photographs and drawings – an amazingly comprehensive ‘cutting-edge’ look at the UFO abduction phenomena.’

Three years ago, I joined CMI as an Events Manager—part of the team that arranges hundreds of speaking events each year. As our documentary project, Evolution’s Achilles’ Heels (EAH), grew and grew, I was quickly absorbed into the video department to help complete what was to become an award-winning film. It was a blessing to me, as I received my college degree in this very area—video production. I have remained full time in this role ever since, including filming and post-producing our youth survey project FALLOUT! and DVDs such as Creation Restored: The New Heavens and Earth; Light Years? No Problem!</a target=”_blank” href=”>; and Evidence for a Young World, among other projects.</a target=”_blank” href=”>

Did life evolve on other planets?

Gary-ironing

Our CEO, Gary Bates, ironing backdrops in a hotel meeting room—setting up our mobile studio to film interviewees. See more at AlienIntrusion.com</a target=”_blank”>

Ever since I started, I (and many others ) had been bugging our CEO, Gary Bates, to make a documentary based on his Amazon.com top-50 best-selling book Alien Intrusion: UFOs and the evolution connection. I read the book as a young man and it helped me see more clearly the spiritual battle we’re fighting. As a parent of young children, it made me aware of the potential desensitization of people, especially our young ones, with the secular culture’s portrayal of older, wiser and more technologically advanced aliens traversing our galaxy.

I know that Gary was daunted by the prospect of embarking upon another major project, especially after having just given two years of his life to EAH. Well, I got my wish and Gary segmented some time away from the office to write a script, and the next thing I knew we were hitting the road hauling eight suitcases of production equipment and ironing backdrops in hotel rooms to set up mini studios to record people involved in all things ‘alien’. Watch out when Gary makes his mind up to do something! In three months, we visited 8 states and numerous cities and even Seoul, South Korea, to interview around 17 scientists, UFO experts and even alleged ‘alien abductees’—even more than we did for EAH.

It’s changed us also!

Joyce

‘Experiencer”’ Joyce and her family once featured in secular documentaries about their alleged alien experiences.

Early on, the importance of this project was made crystal clear when we recorded an interview with UFO-experiencer, Joyce. Although there is a scientific, futuristic aspect to this phenomenon (that we will deal with in the movie), there is also a dark spiritual aspect. Believe it or not, like potentially millions of others, Joyce once believed she encountered alien entities in her own home. Years ago, her family were even featured in a mainstream, secular TV documentary. She recounted to us her traumatic experiences through very painful tears, but also testified how she was delivered from them when she called on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for help!

It was agonizingly difficult to continue as Gary and I both broke down while listening to her trembling voice and the trauma that she and her young family suffered at the hands of evil entities. But we had to remain calm and supportive, the best we could, for Joyce’s sake, and felt humbled as she opened up to us. We both agreed, we will never forget that day.

These encounters really brought home the fact that we must tell these people’s stories.

She is one of several that will feature in this movie, and these encounters really brought home the fact that we must tell these people’s stories. They are so often dismissed as cranks by those who do not understand. Our purpose is to expose the enemy, and show people the spiritual nature of the deception, and most of all, that they need Jesus, and can be delivered just like Joyce.

A creation presentation like nothing before

Dewey-Hodges

Dewey Hodges, Ph.D. (aerospace engineering) explains the problems for interstellar travel.

Now of course, CMI’s core ministry is not just making movies but rather producing life-changing information to the church and beyond. Film and media is just one way we do this, as was the case with Evolution’s Achilles’ Heels (EAH), which was the most powerful evolution antidote we’ve ever produced. It was also the case with EAH that we relied on your financial support to make it happen, because such projects are over and above what we normally do day to day. It is my view that:

  • We already know Gary’s book of the same theme has been one of the most widely circulated creation books ever written.
  • Due to the popularity of science fiction and alien themes; this subject has a greater attraction/pulling power to reach the unchurched.
  • This project has the potential to reach even more people than anything we’ve ever done before.

So, in faith, we’ve already embarked upon filming, post production and producing video animations for this latest project as we want to finish it quickly. We are aiming for a release date towards the end of 2017. That’s not far away.

Are we alone? UFO’S and Alien beings – A Closer Look – Part 2.

Aliens are Interdimensional beings not Extraterrestrial

Many have collected evidence these beings behave in evil ways consistent with the argument they are demonic fallen angels, merely masquerading as alien entities to deceive mankind.

*****

Many feel there has been plenty of speculation but no absolute proof that these beings are Extraterrestrial, instead we see evidence they are are Interdimensional. Thus consistent with the argument for these entities being of the demonic fallen angel category.

This argument has been put forward by experts in the Ufology community such as Jacques Vallee, John Keel, Arthur C. Clarke, John Weldon, John Ankerberg and many others.

  1. UFO QUOTES THAT SHED LIGHT ON THE DECEPTIVE NATURE OF THE “ALIEN” PRESENCE

A large part of the available UFO literature is closely linked with mysticism and the metaphysical. It deals with subjects like mental telepathy, automatic writing and invisible entities as well as phenomena like poltergeist [ghost] manifestation and ‘possession.’ Many of the UFO reports now being published in the popular press recount alleged incidents that are strikingly similar to demonic possession and psychic phenomena.”

– Lynn E. Catoe, UFOs and Related Subjects: USGPO, 1969; prepared under AFOSR Project Order 67-0002 and 68-0003″UFO behaviour is more akin to magic than to physics as we know it… the modern UFOnauts and the demons of past days are probably identical.”
-Dr. Pierre Guerin, FSR Vol. 25, No. 1, p. 13-14″The UFO manifestations seem to be, by and large, merely minor variations of the age-old demonological phenomenon…”
– John A. Keel, UFOs: Operation Trojan Horse, p. 299″A working knowledge of occult science…is indispensable to UFO investigation.”
-Trevor James, FSR Vol. 8, No. 1, p.10Studies of flying saucer cults repeatedly show that they are part of a larger occult social world.”
-Stupple & McNeece, 1979 MUFON UFO Symposium Proceedings, p. 49

“The ‘medical examination’ to which abductees are said to be subjected, often accompanied by sadistic sexual manipulation, is reminiscient of the medieval tales of encounters with demons. It makes no sense in a sophisticated or technical framework: any intelligent being equipped with the scientific marvels that UFOs possess would be in a position to achieve any of these alleged scientific objectives in a shorter time and with fewer risks.”
– Dr. Jacques Vallee, Confrontations, p. 13

“The symbolic display seen by the abductees is identical to the type of initiation ritual or astral voyage that is imbedded in the [occult] traditions of every culture…the structure of abduction stories is identical to that of occult initiation rituals…the UFO beings of today belong to the same class of manifestation as the [occult] entities that were described in centuries past.”
-Dr. Jacques Vallee citing the extensive research of Bertrand Meheust [Science-Fiction et Soucoupes Volantes (Paris, 1978); Soucoupes Volantes et Folklore (Paris, 1985)], in Confrontations, p. 146, 159-161

“[The occultist] is brought into intelligent communication with the spirits of the air, and can receive any knowledge which they possess, or any false impression they choose to impart…the demons seem permitted to do various wonders at their request.”
– G.H. Pember, Earth’s Earliest Ages and Their Connection with Modern Spiritualism and Theosophy (1876), p. 254

“These entities are clever enough to make Strieber think they care about him. Yet his torment by them never ceases. Whatever his relationship to the entities, and he increasingly concludes that their involvement with him is something ‘good,’ he also remains terrified of them and uncertain as to what they are.”
– John Ankerberg, The Facts on UFOs and Other Supernatural Phenomena, p. 21

“I became entirely given over to extreme dread. The fear was so powerful that it seemed to make my personality completely evaporate… ‘Whitley’ ceased to exist. What was left was a body and a state of raw fear so great that it swept about me like a thick, suffocating curtain, turning paralysis into a condition that seemed close to death…I died and a wild animal appeared in my place.”
– Whitley Strieber, Communion, p. 25-26

“Increasingly I felt as if I were entering a struggle that might even be more than life and death. It might be a struggle for my soul, my essence, or whatever part of me might have reference to the eternal. There are worse things than death, I suspected… so far the word demon had never been spoken among the scientists and doctors who were working with me…Alone at night I worried about the legendary cunning of demons …At the very least I was going stark, raving mad.”
– Whitley Strieber, Transformation, p. 44-45

“I wondered if I might not be in the grip of demons, if they were not making me suffer for their own purposes, or simply for their enjoyment.”
– Whitley Strieber, Transformation, p. 172

“I felt an absolutely indescribable sense of menace. It was hell on earth to be there [in the presence of the entities], and yet I couldn’t move, couldn’t cry out, couldn’t get away. I’d lay as still as death, suffering inner agonies. Whatever was there seemed so monstrously ugly, so filthy and dark and sinister. Of course they were demons. They had to be. And they were here and I couldn’t get away.”
– Whitley Strieber, Transformation, p. 181

“Why were my visitors so secretive, hiding themselves behind my consciousness. I could only conclude that they were using me and did not want me to know why…What if they were dangerous? Then I was terribly dangerous because I was playing a role in acclimatizing people to them.”
– Whitley Strieber, Transformation, p. 96

“In many cases they behaved like a hologram that had mass. In other words, if a hologram could also interact with the environment, if it could put holes in the ground and burn the vegetation, you’d have a good approximation of what the UFO is. In other words, it is not an object like that car over there is an object. It looks like a car, it feels like a car, but it isn’t a car. It’s something totally different which can look like a car if it wants to.”  – Jacques Vallee.

“Another argument is that this is not a recent phenomenon. It is a phenomenon that has existed, as far as we can tell, throughout history in one form or another. Without going back to Ezekiel or to Medieval folklore, we do have excellent UFO report records from 1897. I personally have a number of sightings that living people whom I actually met with and interviewed have told me about that they were witnesses of in the twenties and thirties.

So this certainly invalidates the idea that we’re dealing with a civilization that has just discovered us and is coming here now. UFOs seem to have been a part of our environment for a very long time, perhaps as long as man has existed.

Another problem with the extraterrestrial hypothesis is the behavior of these beings. The mainstream of UFOlogy today claims that these are wise explorers of the galaxy who are coming here to study us and the proof of that is what they do. In abductions, for example, they take away human beings. They seem to carry them inside a craft and they draw blood from them. They take samples from them, such as sperm and ova and these look like biological experiments to people like Budd Hopkins and his followers.

Well, I think it proves entirely the opposite thing, because the descriptions that are given of the medical examinations are crude to the point of being absurd. If you had this technology, disc-shaped vehicles that could fly silently and appear out of nowhere, paralyze people and remain unnoticed; if you wanted to, you could land on the roof of the Mayo Clinic or any large research hospital and you’d have access to the blood bank, the sperm, bank, the frozen embryo banks.

We are close to having the techniques for cloning people. You could potentially restart the human race with what we know today on Earth, yet we have only been doing molecular biology for about fifteen years. It’s a very young science, a new science. Think about it. If we can already do this and these beings are supposedly a million years ahead of us, they should be able to perform experiments that would be way beyond what we do.

Instead what people describe is victims coming back with obvious scars. They come back bleeding, they have things up their nose, they have terrible dreams, intense trauma, and they remember under hypnosis! The whole thing is completely absurd. The mind control people in the military already have drugs that can make people forget what they did for a week or what they did on Tuesday between 2 and 3, and no hypnotist could simply put them into a trance and recover the memory. So if we already have that kind of drug, a civilization millions of years in advance of us should be able to manipulate both the body and the memory much better.

Another thing that has been swept under the rug by UFOlogists, which is yet another argument against the extraterrestrial hypothesis, is that these objects change shape. In other words, they are not always discs or eggs or cigars. They change shape dynamically.” Jacques Vallee.

“But the UFO phenomenon simply does not behave like extraterrestrial visitors. It actually molds itself in order to fit a given culture.”
– John Ankerberg, The Facts on UFOs and Other Supernatural Phenomena, p. 10

“Human beings are under the control of a strange force that bends them in absurd ways, forcing them to play a role in a bizarre game of deception.”
– Dr. Jacques Vallee, Messengers of Deception, p. 20

“We are dealing with a multidimensional paraphysical phenomenon which is largely indigenous to planet earth.”
– Brad Steiger, [cited in] Blue Book Files Released in Canadian UFO Report, Vol. 4, No. 4, 1977, p. 20

“We are part of a symbiotic relationship with something which disguises itself as an extra-terrestrial invasion so as not to alarm us.”
-Terrence McKenna [from a lecture].

“One theory which can no longer be taken very seriously is that UFOs are interstellar spaceships.”
– Arthur C. Clarke, New York Times Book Review, 07/27/75

“There seems to be no evidence yet that any of these craft or beings originate from outer space.”
-Gordon Creighton, Official 1992 Flying Saucer Review Policy Statement.

2. Further evidence from UFOlogists.

The interdimensional hypothesis (IDH or IH), is an idea advanced by Ufologists such as Jacques Vallée that says unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and related events involve visitations from other “realities” or “dimensions” that coexist separately alongside our own. It is an alternative to the extraterrestrial hypothesis (ETH).[1][2][3][4] IDH also holds that UFOs are a modern manifestation of a phenomenon that has occurred throughout recorded human history, which in prior ages were ascribed to mythological or supernatural creatures.[2]

Although ETH has remained the predominant explanation for UFOs by UFOlogists,[5] some ufologists have abandoned it in favor of IDH. Paranormal researcher Brad Steiger wrote that “we are dealing with a multidimensional paraphysical phenomenon that is largely indigenous to planet Earth”.[6] Other UFOlogists, such as John Ankerberg and John Weldon, advocate IDH because it fits the explanation of UFOs as a spiritistic phenomenon. Commenting on the disparity between the ETH and the accounts that people have made of UFO encounters, Ankerberg and Weldon wrote “the UFO phenomenon simply does not behave like extraterrestrial visitors.”[1][7] In the book UFOs: Operation Trojan Horse published in 1970, John Keel linked UFOs to supernatural concepts such as ghosts and demons.

The development of IDH as an alternative to ETH increased in the 1970s and 1980s with the publication of books by Vallée and J. Allen Hynek. In 1975, Vallée and Hynek advocated the hypothesis in The Edge of Reality: A Progress Report on Unidentified Flying Objects and further, in Vallée’s 1979 book Messengers of Deception: UFO Contacts and Cults.[8]

Some UFO proponents accepted IDH because the distance between stars makes interstellar travel impractical using conventional means and nobody had demonstrated an antigravity or faster-than-light travel hypothesis that could explain extraterrestrial machines. With IDH, it is unnecessary to explain any propulsion method because the IDH holds that UFOs are not spacecraft, but rather devices that travel between different realities.[9]

One advantage of IDH proffered by Hilary Evans is its ability to explain the apparent ability of UFOs to appear and disappear from sight and radar; this is explained as the UFO entering and leaving our dimension (“materializing” and “dematerializing”). Moreover, Evans argues that if the other dimension is slightly more advanced than ours, or is our own future, this would explain the UFOs’ tendency to represent near future technologies (airships in the 1890s, rockets and supersonic travel in the 1940s, etc.).[10]

IDH has been a causative factor in establishing UFO religion.[1]

Are we alone? UFO’S and Alien beings – A Closer Look – Part One with Norio F. Hayakawa.

Aliens are Interdimensional not Extraterrestrial

Ephesians 6:10-18

The Armor of God

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

The UFO phenomenon as demonic activity? By Norio Hayakawa.

In my opinion, Dr. Jacques Vallee is probably the world’s top-most authority on the nature of the UFO phenomenon.
I totally concur with Dr. Vallee when he stated that “the things we call ‘unidentified flying objects’ may neither be objects nor flying”.
One of the strangest characteristics of this phenomenon seems to be its ability to materialize and dematerialize at will, violating the laws of motion as we know them.

Dr Jacques Vallee

To me, this inevitably leads us to the question:
Is the UFO phenomenon ‘demonic’ in nature?

Who are some of the leading UFO researchers who recognize that UFOs are an occultic and/or demonic phenomenon?

DR. JACQUES VALLEE:

“We are dealing with a yet unrecognized level of consciousness, independent of man but closely linked to the earth…. I do not believe anymore that UFOs are simply the spacecraft of some race of extraterrestrial visitors.  This notion is too simplistic to explain their appearance, the frequency of their manifestations through recorded history, and the structure of the information exchanged with them during contact.”

“An impressive parallel can be made between UFO occupants and the popular conceptions of demons.”

“UFOs can project images or fabricated scenes designed to change our belief systems.”

“…human belief… is being controlled and conditioned“.

Vallee

“Man’s concepts are being rearranged” and we may be headed toward “a massive change of human attitudes toward paranormal abilities and extraterrestrial life.”

“The ‘medical examination’ to which abductees are said to be subjected, often accompanied by sadistic sexual manipulation,  is reminiscent of the medieval tales of encounters with demons.

It makes no sense in a sophisticated or technical or biological framework: any intelligent being equipped with the scientific marvels that UFOs possess would be in a position to achieve any of these alleged scientific objectives in a shorter time and with fewer risks.”

“The symbolic display seen by the abductees is identical to the type of initiations ritual or astral voyage that is imbedded in the [occult] traditions of every culture.”

Thus, “the structure of abduction stories is identical to that of occult initiation rituals.”

LYNN E. CATOE, senior bibliographer for a government publication researched by the Library of Congress for the U.S. Air Force Office of Scientific Research: UFOs and Related Subjects:

“A large part of the available UFO literature is closely linked with mysticism and the metaphysical.  It deals with subjects like mental telepathy, automatic writing and invisible entities as well as phenomena like poltergeist [ghost] manifestations and ‘possession.’  Many of the UFO reports now being published in the popular press recount alleged incidents that are strikingly similar to demonic possession and psychic phenomena….”

DR. PIERRE GUERIN, eminent scientist associated with the French National Council for Scientific Research:

UFO “behavior is more akin to magic than to physics as we know it.”

“…the modern UFOnauts and the demons of past days are probably identical.”

“What is quite certain is that the phenomenon is active here on our planet, and active here as master.”

JOHN A. KEEL, one of the most informed persons in the world on UFOs, author of the now-classic “UFOs: Operation Trojan Horse“:

“The manifestations and occurrences described in this imposing literature on demonology are similar if not entirely identical to the UFO phenomenon itself.”

“The UFO manifestations seem to be, by and large, merely minor variations of the age-old demonological phenomenon.”

Aliens – John A Keel

IVAR MACKAY, former chairman of the respected British UFO Research Association:

“…if one sets the three occult groups against the three classifications of UFO entities and their characteristics, it is rather surprising how complementary to each other they appear to be, not only through their appearance, activities, and level of behavior, but also in the quality of mental and, especially, emotional reaction and response that has been noted to have occurred on contact.”

TREVOR JAMES, veteran UFO researcher:

“A working knowledge of occult science… is indispensable to UFO investigation.”

SOCIOLOGISTS STUPPLE and McNEECE:

“…studies of flying saucer cults repeatedly show that they are part of a larger occult social world.”

Last but not least is a very important work by Nick Redfern (who is often referrred to as the present-day “John A. Keel”) :

51eArl5chfL._SX316_BO1,204,203,200_

BE SURE TO READ HIS WORK:  FINAL EVENTS and the Secret Government Group on Demonic UFOs and the Afterlife :

“For decades, stories of alien abductions, UFO encounters, flying saucer sightings, and Area 51 have led millions of people to believe that extraterrestrials are secretly among us.  But what if those millions of people are all wrong?  What if the UFO phenomenon has much darker and far more ominous origins?

For four years, UFO authority Nick Redfern has been investigating the strange and terrifying world of a secret group within the U.S. Government known as the Collins Elite.

The group believes that our purported alien visitors are, in reality, deceptive demons and fallen angels.  They are the minions of Satan, who are reaping and enslaving our very souls, and paving the way for Armageddon and Judgment Day.

In FINAL EVENTS you’ll learn about the secret government files on occultists Aleister Crowley and Jack Parsons, and their connections to the UFO mystery; revelations of the demonic link to the famous “UFO crash” at Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947;  the disclosure of government investigations into life-after-death and out-of-body experiences; and an examination of the satanic agenda behind alien abductions.

FINAL EVENTS reveals the stark and horrific truths about UFOs that some in the government would rather keep secret.”

ON MAJOR CONSPIRACIES:

I remain skeptical about major, large-scale globally-orchestrated conspiracies.

To some folks, belief in conspiracies seems to be more comforting than reality (as we understand reality to be).

IS RELIGION PART OF PSEUDOSCIENCE?

Yes, in a way, religion is part of pseudoscience because it involves belief.

Religion is not science.  Religion is religion. Science is science.

MY RELIGIOUS BELIEF:

I believe there is a God and that he has given to each of us his plan in this life and the life to come.

MORE ABOUT THE AUTHOR OF THESE ARTICLES

Norio F. Hayakawa Resident of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, U.S.A. I was  the Former Director at Civilian Intelligence News Service.  I now support The Federation of American Scientists (FAS) which is the nation’s largest and most well-funded citizens’ watchdog group on government accountability.

I have researched the UFO phenomenon since around 1961.
In 1990 I organized a network called the Civilian Intelligence Network and began to conduct a thorough research on Area 51 in Nevada.

I have also investigated some widespread claims about the existence of Dulce underground base in New Mexico, and have spoken in many conferences nationwide, especially in the early 1990’s.

In 1995 I was invited by a radio talk show host, Art Bell, to appear on his program called “Dreamland“. During my two-hour appearance, I brought out a theme, which was my belief that the government already had enough technologies to simulate a fake “extraterrestrial” invasion or threat scenario in order to create a forced global unity in the future, if necessary.
That was in 1995.

My present research is on why a segment of the population keeps holding on to their “beliefs in UFOs” (as physical alien spacecraft from outer space, piloted or maneuvered by physical alien entities), despite the apparent lack of physical, irrefutable “scientific” evidence.

My focus is also on the study of how a segment of the population’s “beliefs in UFOs” have been manipulated (and in some cases, even created) and taken advantage of by the U.S. intelligence community and by the military in counter intelligence operations, even though (i.e., said with a dosage of healthy skepticism) they themselves may have given the impression of having been perplexed by this enigmatic phenomenon which they cannot explain and thus will not disclose to the public.

I fully support the organization Aerial Phenomena Investigations Team (based in Washington, D.C.) which stated:

“The serious study of UFOs has been suspended for decades.

The entire field of UFOs has become a toxic swamp of pseudoscience, puerile pranks, sophisticated hoaxes, conspiracy mongering, shoddy and often unethical research, new age claptrap, cheap entertainment and true belief.

Although we agree with the mainstream scientific consensus that the evidence for alien visitation is not persuasive, we think there are hints that something unknown may be going on, although judging whether or not that unknown is extraterrestrial is premature at best.”

I shared these thoughts on March 16, 2009 when I was a guest on the Coast to Coast radio show with George Noory.

Radical Canadian Bill C-16 could mean Jail for Rejecting Transgenderism.

URGENT CALL TO PRAY FOR CANADA: RADICAL NEW BILL COULD MEAN JAIL FOR CHRISTIANS AND OTHERS WHO REJECT TRANSGENDERISM!

http://www.breakingchristiannews.com/articles/display_art.html?ID=21465

“The fact that it’s potentially illegal for me not to participate in that is something that I think is absolutely dreadful. It puts a shudder in my heart as a Canadian that we could even possibly be in a situation like that.” -Dr. Jordan Peterson

University of Toronto professor Jordan Peterson warns a Senate committee about the repercussions of passing Bill C-16.

(Canada)—[LifeSiteNews] Canadians who disavow gender theory could be charged with hate crimes, fined, jailed, and compelled to undergo anti-bias training if the Trudeau Liberals’ Bill C-16 passes, critics told a Senate committee last week. (Screengrab via LifeSiteNews.com)

The Senate could vote as early as May 30 on Bill C-16, which adds “gender expression” and “gender identity” to Canada’s Human Rights Code and to the Criminal Code’s hate crime section.

Dr. Jordan Peterson and lawyer D. Jared Brown were among those warned the committee the bill is an unprecedented threat to freedom of expression and codifies a spurious ideology of gender identity in law.

Meanwhile, Campaign Life Coalition has issued an urgent call on Facebook for fasting and prayer that those senators in favor of the bill have a change of heart. As it stands, Bill C-16 is expected to pass.

CLC also commended Peterson for proving to be “a hero in this battle.”

A University of Toronto psychology professor, Peterson told the senate committee May 17 that “it’s unbelievably dangerous for us to move towards representing a social constructionist view of identity in our legal system.”

He believes “ideologues” are “using unsuspecting and sometimes complicit members of the so-called transgender community to push their ideological vanguard forward,” Peterson said.

“The fact that it’s potentially illegal for me not to participate in that is something that I think is absolutely dreadful. It puts a shudder in my heart as a Canadian that we could even possibly be in a situation like that.”

Peterson has become Canada’s preeminent critic of the Liberal bill after he produced three videos opposing the enforcement of gender ideology, one of which blasted Bill C-16, which he said “requires compelled speech.”

He also vowed he would not use “genderless pronouns” such as “zir” and “ze” for those who self-identify as gender non-conforming when requested.

Since then, the university sent him “two letters to cease and desist in my public utterances because they believed that not only was I violating the university’s standards of conduct but also the relevant provisions” of the Ontario Human Rights Code, Peterson told the committee.

The OHRC “explicitly states that refusing to refer to a person by their self-identified name and proper personal pronoun, which are the pronouns I was objecting to, can be interpreted as harassment,” he said.

“I think that’s appalling, first of all, because there hasn’t been a piece of legislation that requires Canadians to utter a particular form of address that has particular ideological implications before, and it’s a line we shouldn’t cross.” (Photo via Pinterest)

Moreover, “the very idea that calling someone a term that they didn’t choose causes them such irreparable harm that legal remedies should be sought,” is an “an indication of just how deeply the culture of victimization has sunk into our society.”

Bill C-16 also “devolves into a kind of absurdity” because the Liberals did not foresee that there would be “an absolute explosion of identities, first of all, and also of so-called personal pronouns,” Peterson said.

“It has become linguistically unmanageable. Words can’t be introduced into the language by fiat.”

Jail for those who don’t comply.
Brown said he looked into Bill C-16 when “lawyers, academic lawyers, important people” criticized Peterson’s very public denunciations of the bill.

“What was happening is they weren’t defending the law but downplaying its effects. As a practicing lawyer, any time a lawyer, and particularly an academic, says, ‘Look away; there’s nothing to see here,’ it gets my antenna way up,” Brown told the Senate.

“I’m not an academic. I live with my clients in the land of legal reality and how the law actually works,” he noted.

“I knew, as a commercial litigator, that anyone can end up in jail if you breach a tribunal order. It is a simple, civil, contempt-of-court process. People go to jail for this.”

The federal department of justice has made clear it will use the Ontario Human Rights Code guidelines, and that these “mandate” the use of genderless pronouns on request, Brown said.

“Mandating use of pronouns requires one to use words that are not their own that imply a belief in or agreement with a certain theory on gender,” he added.

“If you try to disavow that theory, you can be brought before the Human Rights Commission for misgendering or potentially find yourself guilty of a hate crime. To sum up, on the subject of gender, we’re going to have government-mandated speech.”

Those who refuse to go along could be “brought before the federal tribunal,” Brown said.

Laura Maxwell

Spune prietenul tău că locuința lui are spirite prietenoase, fantome ale celor decedați sau că este chiar „bântuită”? Te rog fă-i cunoscute acestea.

Homeopathy & The Occult by Ex New Ager – Author Marcia Montenegro.

Ex New Ager, Spiritualist & Professional Astrologer, participated in past life regression, astral travel, spirit contact, tarot cards and had spirit guides… Marcia Montenegro is a woman who I highly admire and have loved her resources for years!!!

She’s been a guest on my radio show The Supernatural with Laura Maxwell and her articles have featured on my blog. I HIGHLY recommend you check out her blog and Facebook page. (Details at foot of her article below).

Laura Maxwell: “My own comment… When I was a new ager, I too was taught Homeopathy was a very spiritual healing modality, involving spirit energies of the herbs, plants, universe, etc. I too was influenced by Swedenborg and the many herbalists who dabbled in new age or occult practises.

My mother and I used, for example, the Bach Flower Remedies, essential oils and so on, usually only available in health food or occult stores but then selling in mainstream outlets and widely prescribed by health professionals.

I’m not against plants, herbs, etc, but like anything, if used in conjunction with occult beliefs, they will become accursed. In much the same way that we wouldn’t want to ingest herbs that a dark occultist has deliberately placed spells on or cursed, or eat meat that was sacrificed to satan or idols (a practise that still occurs today and is even documented throughout the bible), neither would we want to open ourselves to homeopathic remedies that are unknowingly cursed.

Neither am I claiming Homeopaths or homeopathic users are evil people! I once used such remedies myself before I knew the demonic attachments involved.

After I became a Christian, in 1996, I underwent deliverance ministry, where demons were cast out of me, curses broken from such practises. Since 1996, I’ve saw others be set free from such demonic practises too.

Jesus still heals today, hallelujah!”

HOMEOPATHY, THE OCCULT, AND BEYOND

By Marcia Montenegro, June, 2012

***

What do Dr. Oz and the founder of Homeopathy, Samuel Hahnemann, have in common? Both are/were followers of the teachings of Emmanuel Swedenborg – scientist turned mystic, angel-whisperer, founder of a “new Christianity,” and often called the father of the New Thought Movement.

Samuel Hahnemann

New Thought, though claiming to be Christianity, is based on beliefs that man has an innate divine nature, God is impersonal, Jesus was a man who discovered his divinity and thereby attained a “Christ consciousness” or was able to receive a “Christ spirit” (in New Thought, Jesus and the Christ are not one and the same). Jesus came to correct wrong thinking, because the faulty perception that man is sinful and separated from God had kept men from knowing the truth about themselves and the world.

Swedenborg

Swedenborg believed that illness resulted from evil thoughts, an idea that matured in New Thought as the belief that illness is a result of incorrect perceptions, a cornerstone of Mary Baker Eddy’s Church of Christ, Scientist (Christian Science). Much of Swedenborg’s data came, according to him, from angels who communicated with him.

From these teachings arose beliefs that man, as a divine being, has the ability to manipulate invisible powers which can be used for healing, as well as the ability to conquer illness by changing one’s thinking since illness exists only within the mind.

The idea of controlling invisible forces took shape in a popular 18th century metaphysical philosophy called Vitalism. Vitalism persisted into the 20th century and today forms the basis of most pseudo-science (especially in the healing arts) and New Age thinking, though terms other than Vitalism are used. But channeling and manipulating energy has always been an element of occult practice and is essentially occultic.

Energy and Vitalism

Vitalism was the name given to the belief in an invisible and unquantifiable energy in the universe and in the body that can be channeled or directed for healing.  This idea is not new — it goes back to ancient times and is found in all cultures. As a universal force permeating all, it may be called chi (Taoism; also qi, ki), prana (Hinduism), life energy, vital energy, universal force, or other names. Sometimes this force is considered intelligent and viewed as an impersonal Divine Intelligence pervading all.

The belief in this energy undergirds New Age energy healing and occult healing practices such as psychic healing, Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, Qi-gong, energy balancing, aura cleansing, and others.  Channeling, unblocking, balancing, and/or manipulating this energy or force is the crux of much alternative healing and the dark heart of all energy healing.

Mesmer the Hypnotist

Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843) was a German physician who turned away from medicine – an echo of Swedenborg who turned away from science to metaphysics. Hahnemann not only was influenced by Swedenborg’s views, but called the alleged healing practices of New Thought pioneer and hypnotist Franz Anton Mesmer “a marvelous, priceless gift of God’ (http://wayoflife.org/files/1fb1348d18e422edab502e0649a8f3a8-471.html).

Franz Anton Mesmer (1734-1815) believed that “the planets of our solar system exude invisible rays that affect our bodies. Mesmer called this effect ‘animal magnetism,’ and the rays ‘magnetic fluid’” (http://www.anton-mesmer.com/). Mesmer practiced a healing method which, he claimed, harnessed this “magnetic fluid” via iron and other metals, which he then placed on the bodies of his patients. This had a hypnotic effect on patients, which is why the term “mesmerize” comes from Mesmer’s name. Mesmer became famous for people falling into trances when he merely walked into the room.

Mesmerism is considered a form of Vitalism, and continued to be a cornerstone of New Thought and pseudo-scientific healing before morphing into more sophisticated sounding processes.

Homeopathy

Energy and Dilutions

Homeopathic remedies are made by using a small quantity of original substance and shaking it in a liquid, then diluting that and shaking some more, followed by further dilutions and vigorous shakings, called succussions in Homeopathy, until barely any or none of the original substance is left. This was the invention of Hahnemann. Supposedly, the liquid holds the “memory” of the substance.

(Another basic but false belief of Homeopathy is that “like cures like” but time and space limit this writer from going into that; see links given below for more information on this and on Homeopathy and New Thought). This belief is not surprising in light of Hahnemann’s occult-based views.

Quote==“The founder of homeopathy, Samuel Hahnemann, promoted an immaterial, vitalistic view of disease:  ‘…they are solely spirit-like (dynamic) derangements of the spirit-like power (the vital principle) that animates the human body.’ As practised by some homeopaths today, homeopathy simply rests on the premise of treating sick persons with extremely diluted agents that – in undiluted doses – are deemed to produce similar symptoms in a healthy individual. Nevertheless, it remains equally true that the view of disease as a dynamic disturbance of the immaterial and dynamic vital force is taught in many homeopathic colleges and constitutes a fundamental principle for many contemporary practising homeopaths.”==end quote

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitalism

To believe that a solution emptied of the original substance is actually effective, and maybe even more so, due to the shaking and “memory of water” is contrary to reason. The principle in this is a reliance on a supernatural force and esoteric methods that have no basis in objective data. Such thinking is emblematic of the occult, which proposes unseen, unknown forces and arcane practices.

Hahnemann and Christianity

Though raised a Lutheran (which would be true of almost everyone in Germany at that time), Hahnemann was a Deist, according to one source, and according to other sources, including a biographer, rejected the Jesus of the Bible.

Quote==”He took offense at the arch-enthusiast Jesus of Nazareth, who did not lead the enlightened on the straight way to wisdom but who wanted to struggle with publicans and sinners on a difficult path toward the establishment of the kingdom of God. . . . The man of sorrows who took the darkness of the world on Himself was an offense to the lover of etheric [highly refined, heavenly] wisdom”

(Source: Samuel Pfeifer, M.D., Healing at Any Price?, Milton Keynes, England: Word Limited, 1988, as quoted at

http://logosresourcepages.org/NewAge/na-med.htm)

In light of Hahnemann’s devotion to Swedenborg and other New Thought beliefs, it is reasonable to conclude that Hahnemann adopted, at least in part, Swedenborgian New Thought views, which are definitely not Christian.

That Hahnemann was probably not an adherent of Christianity does not by itself render his views on healing invalid. However, in the context of his teachings and the influence on him from Swedenborg, Mesmer, and Vitalism, this information is further evidence of his occult beliefs, which is consistent with his teachings.

If it works?

Any warning on something as popular as homeopathy always brings responses that homeopathic remedies work. However, this should not be the criteria for a Christian. Homeopathy and other  pseudo-scientific or occult practices may seem to work due to many factors: coincidence; other treatments have been given; the patient would have recovered with no treatment; the power of suggestion; and the placebo effect.

God has created a real world (including our bodies) that operates on laws he designed and has given us a brain to discover and understand these laws. The proliferation today of pseudo-scientific healing modalities based on occult principles of energy – even among Christians — is astonishing. Let us not pay homage to such treatments by using them.

“But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; abstain from every form of evil. 1 Thess. 5:21

“Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?”  1 Cor. 3:16

Marcia Montenegro Most Christians decry astrology and other aspects of the occult, but many embrace Homeopathy, which is just as occultic. “To believe that a solution emptied of the original substance is actually effective, and maybe even more so, due to the shaking and “memory of water” is contrary to reason. The principle in this is a reliance on a supernatural force and esoteric methods that have no basis in objective data. Such thinking is emblematic of the occult, which proposes unseen, unknown forces and arcane practices.” — From article
Cecil Andrews A very helpful little book that looks at the claims of Homoeopathy and a number of other holistic healing therapies is “Healing: At any price?” by Samuel Pfeifer. I have checke Amazon and a number of used copies at virtually give-away prices are available for purchase at http://www.amazon.co.uk/Healing-Any-Price-Samuel-Pfeifer/dp/0850091535
Susan Moore I know many are saying homeopathy doesn’t work and is useless and I am not arguing it’s suspect origins, but I have first hand experience in fact that it can and does work…I will continue to seek God on the matter, but I have been seriously ill for a very long time and pharmaceuticals make me very ill…in a crippling matter. My body cannot detox those chemicals. I understand they have their place and help others, but I’m not one of them. I only use one homeopathic remedy currently and it works…there is no placebo effect in my case. I am not arguing that anyone should use homeopathics, but they have worked for me and others I know. It’s hard to believe they could continue to sell them if they had no effect at all. When I look at traditional medicine it is ever evolving and changing…I am not smart enough to speak to all the various methods of treatment, but they use to be very barbaric and doctors/pharmaceuticals kill a fair share of people…certainly we do not know each doctor’s, scientist’s, researcher’s spiritual origins…how everything is developed and formed…which spirit is leading each of them in their processes…again, please know that I am not challenging anything said here and I am not trying to argue anything…we certainly need to be wise about who we allow to treat us and we should examine their methods, etc. I just don’t know if people are doing that with traditional doctors and medicine….traditional doctors and medicine have repeatedly failed me and in fact I suffer with lingering effects of prescription drugs that have since been pulled from the market. I see problems and issues on both sides…traditional medicine and alternative medicine. And it gets really confusing when professing Christian doctors are using alternative methods…I’ve been to a couple of those, too. When a person is disabled by illness like I have been for many years…the answers aren’t always so clear….one instinctively seeks relief and it’s easy for those on the sidelines to criticize. I will state again that I am seeking God (like I have been doing for the past 23 years)…I do not want to do anything contrary to His will.
Marcia Montenegro Of course, if you are using homeopathy and it helps you, I won’t argue. But it could be placebo and/or could be coincidence or other factors. At any rate, we can’t recommend things based solely on anecdotal stories. And yes, they can sell them with nothing in them because they are not regulated.

Marcia Montenegro Most people don’t realize that supplements, herbal “remedies”, and homeopathy are NOT regulated, and that is the choice of the supplement industry and alleged alternative treatments.

Susan Moore I am specifically speaking of homeopathic remedies…I do know the difference. I use to work in a health food store years ago. I also use herbs, essential oils, enzymes, probiotics, minerals, etc. I am not arguing for homeopathics…I just am left in a quandary…if I follow your counsel I will then have to deal with a troublesome and at times painful condition that I have had under control for the last four years by using a pellet homeopathic remedy. I suppose what I was speaking to was the statements that it’s all hogwash and doesn’t work…I can only speak to my experience. I do know it’s a crazy climate with new age people/methods out there when you start to pursue alternative methods…but there are a set of people who are very sick and either traditional medicine/doctors caused the problem (iotragenic treatment…when a doctor actually causes harm to his/her patient by their choice of treatment) or they cause more harm by using wrong or unhelpful methods of treatment. I have been able to trace back to the origin of my ill health and it began with one doctor and was perpetuated by another….it wasn’t until I stopped going to traditional doctors and sought alternative treatments and solutions that I started to see some relief. My condition is not curable, so I am only able to manage symptoms/pain. I have worked with several doctors, 2 of which are Christian and they all are beginning to turn to other methods besides pharmaceuticals and surgery (which do have their place, but there are other methods as well). So I am just left to continue to seek God on the matter. I appreciate your concern for the Body of Christ and we do need to be very discerning and we do need to test every spirit. Thanks.
Susan Moore I am acutely aware of what you are saying and people do need to be careful and they need to do their homework. I would never buy my supplements, etc. from Walmart or CVS or even most health food stores. I only use high grade (actually considered pharmaceutical grade) herbs & supplements. I work with a wonderful compounding pharmacist who handles my treatment under the umbrella of my current family doctor. So I would agree with you that there are a lot of useless supplements, etc. being sold out there, but it’s not all or nothing. When a person can find a reputable source and if they have time to educate themselves like I did there are other good alternative treatments out there and I would hate for someone to miss that because they think it’s all just bad. There is bad and good to most everything in this world…anything can be abused and manipulated for harm instead of good.
Jamie McMullan I knew if I kept reading the comments my question would be answered. We use “natural” things like making our own cleaners (vinegar, baking soda) and I have been looking at essential oils for cleaning like lavender and tea tree oil. The only other thing we have used is Gripe Water and Mylicon with our son’s colic…I’m guessing those are different than what you are talking about? It seems in general people consider natural remedies and “homeopathic” as the same thing… But from what I am gathering from your post they are completely different things…
Marcia Montenegro I am sorry for your situation but cannot agree that anyone should use homeopathy and most other non-medical treatments. This is the major way the New Age has entered the church.

Marcia Montenegro Right, Jamie McMullan, they are not the same. But I also urge caution on essential oils. Those with proven physical effects may help, but many claims are false. The main purveyors are New Age companies or those who have bought into New Age.

Diane Moss Overstreet Marcia, Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom. My daughter is steeped in New Age and I need to learn so I can expose the truth to her. Do you have some books I can purchase on the subject? Also, What are your speaking fees; many people in the church are blinded and I think you would help! Thank you!

Marcia Montenegro Hi, Diane! Thanks for your comments. What areas of the New Age is your daughter in or what kind of books do you want to read about it? There are not very many but I can come up with a few if I know more. I don’t have speaking fees but I need expenses paid and an honorarium (and a place to stay if out of town). You can PM me about that and it would easier to discuss there.
Marcia Montenegro Diane Moss Overstreet, one of the better books on how the New Age infiltrated the culture is Peter Jones‘ book, “The Gnostic Empire Strikes Back.” I recommend that one to anyone interested in a broad view of the New Age – it’s roots and how it enters society. But what specific areas of the New Age is your daughter in, if you know?

Gnostic Empire Strikes Back by Peter Jones

Grannie Brazier Constance Butler Cumbey, her book THE HIDDEN DANGERS OF THE RAINBOW helped me to understand what I had been in, and helped me to get out of the stinking thinking… Of course, I always recommend, on you tube, THE BEAUTIFUL SIDE OF EVIL… found out her book is now $25 dollars, used… glad I have one! I recommend one prays first… deep…. Oh, Warren B. Smiths books, excellent, esp. the one of his travels out of the new age… www.swrc.com has them.. blessings.

Sarah Beazley Cunnington Thanks for this well written article. I am living in France, and sadly, homeopathy was generally embraced by many French Protestants from the 1970’s, when the government introduced state regulation of alternative medicines, for fiscal reasons. Since then, many Christians mistakenly assume that this means that homeopathy (among other therapies) is safe both medically and spiritually !!! It is always a sign that people are hooked on something that is wrong (I believe, at least) when they get totally freaked if you dare suggest their pet therapy is not “godly”. I almost got thrown out of our church for daring to run a series of conferences on alternative medicine and citing homeopathy in the accompanying booklet I’d written as one of several dubious practices. It’s effect, when it has one, is only as a placebo, but spiritually I am convinced that using homeopathy and other “energy” medicines, compromises our faith, and dulls our ability to discern other deceptive practices by which Satan is infiltrating the body of Christ. Instead of “wasting” their faith on homeopathy, Christians need to believe that God still heals today!

Marcia Montenegro Sarah Beazley Cunnington, I can’t thank you enough for your comment! I am on the same page as you. I believe that when something based on occult and New Age beliefs is so accepted in the church (and with hostility towards any info or expose of its true nature) that it does “dull” discernment and response to other things even more New Age or occultic. I have seen this happening in the church here since the 90s and now it’s at the point that even more New Age concepts in healing are accepted than before. I commend you for having a conference to expose these false forms of healing and their spiritual basis which opposes the biblical worldview. Thank you again and may the Lord grant you encouragement and strength as you serve Him.
Sarah Beazley Cunnington My current ‘journey’ is studying primarily nutritional health and follows on from a year of major health problems, including 2 heart attacks and 4 other emergency hospital admissions. Even in this area its not a Sunday afternoon stroll, more like trying to pick my way through a minefield, as I try to discover what is both physically and spirituality safe amongst the plethora of information available. The internet abounds with purveyors of snake oil, or worse. Scratch the surface and the spiritual roots become apparent, a veritable nest of vipers… We need such discernment, it’s a sobering thought to realise that yes, even the elect can be deceived. However, at the same time Christians do need to address issues like toxic diet and environmental and not leave it all to the shamans. When Jesus said that we are not defiled by what goes into our mouths, but by the words that come out of our mouths, (Matthew 15:11) this was a spiritual illustration, given at a time when pollution was not really an issue, no pesticides and herbicides poisoning the planet and all it’s resources…
Marcia Montenegro Pub Med publications are not to be taken as valid scientific conclusions.
Marilie Fouche Marcia thank you for the article. I myself have turned to homeopathy in search of medicine that is not so chemical especially for my little girl who suffers from gastro-intestinal problems. I would like to ask specifically to what type of remedies a Christian should turn if one wants to steer away from chemical drugs. Whenever we go to a doctor Antibiotics are prescribed 99% of the time. My daughter and I do not respond well to antibiotics and are often ill from the antibiotics weeks after the original problem is solved. Also on the subject of vaccines. My daughter had a bad reaction to vaccines which led me to read up on all the bad ingredients in vaccines. I am not willing to risk a bad reaction again by taking her for the rest of her vaccines…the only other alternative are homeopathic vaccines (to ensure school acceptance). What would you advise. Thank you kindly
Marcia Montenegro Marilie Fouche, thanks for your comment. Homeopathy is not valid in any way, shape, or form. Also, all things you ingest are chemicals, even herbs, because everything reacts chemically with the body. There is no such thing as natural. Many people have bad reactions to antibiotics, including myself, but that does not validate homeopathy, which is occultic and invalid. When I have had to take antibiotics, I have asked for the mildest ones possible. Fortunately, it has been seldom that I need any, so far. I never heard of homeopathic vaccines; it’s actually an oxymoron. Did you understand that the article I wrote is revealing that there is basically nothing in homeopathic remedies of the original substance? Homeopathic remedies are mostly sugar pills.
Marilie Fouche I totally understand the article, what I’m asking is what would you biblically recommend instead of homeopathy or drugs. What I mean by chemical is all the additives in drugs that have known side-effects and often build up in your system especially as I mentioned with my 2 year old who has stomach problems (which means that most ‘drugs’irritate her stomach). I have to disagree that all chemicals are equal though. Obviously a drug that is not natural would be more negative for instance for your liver. Whilst using a herb does not have a negative effect on your liver. I understand that bad reactions to antibiotics according to your article does not validate using homeopathy, I’m asking what other options are out there that are not New Age. Concerning the vaccines: for school acceptance you need an up-to-date vaccines card. My child reacts badly, very badly, to vaccines, the only other vaccines schools accept are homeopathic…in other words I would not be considering the homeopathic vaccines as an actual vaccine, but only to gain school acceptance for my daughter.
Marcia Montenegro Marilie, actually, many supplements and herbs cause liver damage. In fact, this is one of the biggest dangers from them that few know about. You are wrong to think they cannot cause liver damage.
==Herbal and dietary supplements now are responsible for about 20 percent of liver injuries. Check out the safety of herbal products before taking them to learn whether they’ve caused liver damage in others. Herbs that can be dangerous for your liver include green tea extract, kava, and comfrey, among others.==http://www.everydayhealth.com/…/toxic-not-healthy…/
Seemingly healthy herbal teas and supplements can carry the risk of…

Marcia Montenegro Marilie, you need to discuss with your doctor what options there are for you. I am not a doctor.

Brent Gensler The first time I heard of homeopathy I laughed. The second time I heard of homeopathy I laughed. The third time I got angry. I can’t remember what the “active ingredient” was but I researched the amount that was supposedly in it. It came out to a tablespoon in 10 gallons. Well at least you get the alcohol…

Marcia Montenegro Sadly, homeopathy is rife in the Christian community.
Brent Gensler I remember reading about this years ago Marcia. Thanks for posting this. I still have notes somewhere but you hit all of the important information.
It grieves me that professing Christians could fall for such mumbo jumbo. One person I knew that was into it was actually a nurse. When she told me about the shaking… I was done…

Does God bring us Instant or Gradual Change? Both – but with Our Cooperation!

How Change Happens (1)

‘We are changed into his glorious image.’ 2 Corinthians 3:18

Change happens through crisis. God changed Jacob’s name, which means ‘deceiver’, to Israel, which means ‘a prince with God’.

And He did it through crisis.

Realising he had to go home and face the wrath of his brother Esau, whom he’d mistreated, Jacob became desperate.

That night in his tent he wrestled with the angel of the Lord. And the change in his life didn’t come quickly or easily, because we’re told he wrestled until daybreak. But suddenly it dawned on Jacob that he was wrestling with God, and it was a fight he couldn’t win.

Likewise, God will let you wrestle with an issue you can’t resolve, to get your attention. He’ll bring you to the place where you must concede, ‘I can’t handle this situation. It’s too big for me. I need God!’

If that’s where you are today, you’re on the cusp of a breakthrough. If you’re asking God to make you comfortable in the mess you’re in, forget it – it’s not going to happen.

‘As an eagle stirs up its nest…so the LORD alone led him’ (Deuteronomy 32:11-12 NKJV). A mother eagle withholds food from her children to persuade them to leave the nest and learn to fly.

Can you imagine what they’re thinking? ‘It’s my mother doing this to me!’

And God will do the same to you. He’ll allow a crisis in order to get your attention. He knows you won’t change until your fear of change is surpassed by the pain you’re experiencing.

Bottom line: ‘The Lord – who is the Spirit – makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.’

How Change Happens (2)

‘I will not let you go unless you bless me.’ Genesis 32:26

Change happens through commitment. When Jacob realised he was wrestling with the angel of the Lord, he said, ‘I will not let you go unless you bless me.’ That’s what it takes – commitment. Jacob was committed and persistent; he stuck with it until he worked his way through it.

He didn’t like where he was any more than you do. It was frustrating and it was getting him down. But he was totally committed to sticking with it until God turned it around for his good.

When God gets our attention through a crisis, He doesn’t always solve it immediately; sometimes He waits to see whether we really mean business.

We’re so conditioned to instant everything – instant food, instant Internet access, instant success – that when we don’t get an immediate answer to our prayer or an instant turnaround we say, ‘Forget it, God.’

The fact is you didn’t get into this mess overnight, and you won’t get out of it overnight. Sometimes God has to remove our weaknesses layer by layer.

Experts tell us it takes six weeks of doing the same thing every day before it becomes a habit. Think of that in terms of developing the habit of praying and reading your Bible each day, or relearning to love your spouse.

That’s six weeks…forty-two days…over a thousand hours…and Satan will fight you at every turn.

So what should you do? Spend time with God. ‘They that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint’ (Isaiah 40:31 KJV).
