Yes this is true, being a former theistic satanist I can tell you that pre-empting prophecy was a main goal. Replicate or create the factors that would be accepted as leading to a prophecy and direct it to the desired outcome. It is a coup against the ‘order of things’, if the order cannot be hijacked then it must be reversed.
I was told when satan and his order took over this earth then at first nobody would notice anything different. But like the ‘frog in the pot’ the heat would gradually be turned up and the frog would not notice and would boil to death.
Can this offensive be stopped? Yes, because while God is in the equation there is always hope. But seeing as the western world along with its international cities (you can say this about the entire world for that matter) continuously push away God and embrace atheism then that hope diminishes.
