No Whip and No Bit
I was shown a horse being made ready for use. As I watched they started by placing the bit between the horses teeth and mouth, then they brought the reins over the ears and down over the horses back and then placed them into position upon the two wheeled trap sitting behind the horse.
At this point a person climbed aboard the trap and picked up the reins. I heard loudly the crack of the whip and the horse pricked up its ears, and began to move forward with ease. As the controller moved the reins right or left, the horse moved in these directions, again accompanied with the crack of the whip. The controller had full control because of the fear of the whip being used upon this horse.
My Beloved, I have removed the reins of the controllers who have been cracking the whip over your lives, you are not tethered, you have no bit between your teeth that religion can control you with. I call you to speak freely for those still in captivity and bring them to freedom in Christ Jesus.
(NIV) James 3: 3
When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal.
(NIV) Isaiah 49: 8-10
This is what the LORD says:
“In the time of my favor I will answer you,
and in the day of salvation I will help you;
I will keep you and will make you
to be a covenant for the people,
to restore the land
and to reassign its desolate inheritances,
to say to the captives, ‘Come out,’
and to those in darkness, ‘Be free!’
“They will feed beside the roads
and find pasture on every barren hill.
They will neither hunger nor thirst,
nor will the desert heat or the sun beat down on them.
He who has compassion on them will guide them
and lead them beside springs of water.
