‘The False Messiah is not actually the opponent of Christ, but, the false Christ which Scripture defines antichristos (Greek ἀντίχριστος = ‘in place of,’ or ‘instead of’, not merely ‘against’)!

‘He is not against Christ; he claims to be Christ’s instrument on earth. That is the very definition of Antichrist.’ That is what Antichrists and The Antichrist do—not destroy Christianity outright but absorb it, counterfeit it, and enthrone himself as its living embodiment.’

The Antichrist must be received as a messianic figure—a peacemaker welcomed by Jews and Christians alike, one who flatters both faiths while corrupting them from within. ‘The Antichrist is described by Isaiah in the person, likened to the King of Babylon:

Isaiah 14:12-14
“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.”

He is not in opposition but in place of Messiah! He will sit in the Holy of Holies as his own throne, in his name, in triumph.

We are told all about his plans.

However obvious this is in the Scriptures, good theologians have floated the idea of a Muslim Antichrist, and so this has circulated for years because Islam explicitly denies the divinity of Jesus.

On the surface this appears sensible – surely the “enemy of Christ” would arise from a religion that rejects Him.

Yet this reasoning collapses once one understands that antichrist does not mean against Christ, but ‘instead of Christ’ —a counterfeit Christ who claims divine sanction, works lying wonders, and demands the world’s worship as though he were the long-awaited Messiah.

The spirit of Antichrist is not atheism or Islam; it is replacement!

It imitates Christ’s roles—king, savior, peacemaker, miracle-worker—and offers a worldly kingdom in place of the heavenly one.

Throughout history, pagan kings grasped at this same blasphemous crown.

Pharaoh was hailed as the son of Ra; Nebuchadnezzar built a golden image of himself and commanded the nations to bow. The Caesars called themselves divi filius—sons of god—and accepted worship in temples. Even the British royal line, tracing itself through the Plantagenets and Merovingians, wrapped monarchy in the myth of semi-divine blood: a lineage they claimed ‘descended from Mary Magdalene’s daughter ‘…

Their coronations still rest upon the so-called Stone of Destiny, said by legend to be the very stone upon which Jacob laid his head when he dreamed of the ladder to heaven and wrestled the Angel of the Lord for a blessing.

Matthew 24:24 “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

In every age, rulers have tried to steal heaven’s authority by fusing divine myth with political dominion.

Why is King Charles III going to the Vatican to pray with the pope? All this catholic Charlie Kirk propaganda with his devout catholic widow Erica is part of a christian-ish so- called “revival”…. Maybe the pope, King Charles or William should be kept in mind?

That is what Antichrists and The Antichrist do—not destroy Christianity outright but absorb it, counterfeit it, and enthrone himself as its living embodiment.

For this reason, a Muslim savior, however charismatic, cannot fulfill the prophecy. Israel will not be deceived by one who denies Christ’s covenant or rejects their Scriptures. Islam declares death to Jews and Western infidels.

Mohammad bin Salman looks like he is from central casting- handsome and charismatic though powerful and enigmatic, but, he fails this testing of spirits given in the Bible. He cannot be the Antichrist because: Israel’s Acceptance – Israel will never anoint a Muslim as its covenant partner or temple patron. Prophecy shows they will make a covenant with one they believe favors their God (Daniel 9:27).

Western Power Base:

The final beast of Revelation rises from -the sea of nations rooted in the Greco-Roman world, not from Arabia.

The Antichrist inherits the throne of the last empire—Rome’s continuation in Western civilization.

Religious Syncretism, not Islam – The coming deception unites the world’s faiths under a counterfeit Christianity, not a new caliphate. Islam will be absorbed or neutralized, not exalted.

Economic Dominion:

Revelation’s beast rules the global marketplace through commerce and digital control—hallmarks of
the West’s technocratic power, not Saudi religious authority.

However the pope from Chicago Illinois just opened an Islamic prayer room in the Vatican!! Why?!!

Image and Idolatry:

The Antichrist demands worship through an image animated by deception (Revelation 13:14-15).

Trump’s cult of image, his monuments, and the digital echo of his likeness across the world mirror this idolatry far more than any Islamic figure.

False Peace Covenant:

He will “confirm a covenant with many for one week” – meaning seven years, (Daniel 9:27), bringing apparent peace to Israel before betraying them.

Trump’s Abrahamic Peace Accords—and his ongoing bid to expand them—fit this prophecy precisely.

The Seat of the Final Empire:

The woman who rides the beast, “that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth” (Revelation 17:18), corresponds not to Mecca but to the Western mercantile-imperial system—epitomized by America, the seventh and final head of the Roman beast.

Therefore, though Mohammad bin Salman’s name faintly echoes Solomon and his splendor evokes fascination, he remains outside the prophetic architecture.

The Antichrist must rise from the revived Roman world, appear as a Christian champion, unite Israel and the nations in a counterfeit peace, and exalt himself as the incarnation of divine authority.

Only a few figures today can totally fulfills those requirements with chilling precision, but, in particular—the man who crowns himself savior of the West, courts Israel as its protector, and commands multitudes to pledge allegiance to his name.

‘As an Ex Golden New Ager, I thank Rene for an excellent post – may I please add:

‘We know as he rises ‘instead of’ Christ, prideful, often presenting himself a savior figure, a glorious golden being in place of God, that scripture predicts eventually he will indeed declare himself as God, when he enters the Jewish Third Temple, soon said to be built in Jerusalem, which Trump indeed promised to help them build.

Interesting that both Judas Iscariot and the Antichrist were both called the Sons of Perdition, both surrounded by believers, and both pretending to follow Jesus yet betrayed Him. Just as Satan literally entered Judas near the end, scripture also says he’ll enter the AC soon too!

After the soon-coming 7 years of Tribulation and Armageddon Battle, having caused so much global death, he will literally be confronted, and defeated by the return of Jesus Christ, at the world’s end.

If you don’t know Jesus yet, precious friends, please ask Him to become your Saviour and to forgive your sins.

Time is running out. Then, eternal heaven, or eternal hell. We lovingly warn because we care!’
