I’m delighted to interview my friend Alisha Deschamps on ‘The Supernatural with Laura Maxwell’, on Eternal Radio this weekend.

Alisha lives in Canada. She used to be involved in New Age practices and had Out of Body Experiences. She used Ouija Boards, Tarot Cards and Transcendental Meditation.

Believing she was now awakened, enlightened and part of the universal consciousness she accepted many of the new age teachings. An entity appeared and literally told Alisha all the Christians had to be killed, so everyone on Earth could ‘evolve spiritually!’ Like Alisha, when I was a New Ager, I was taught the same!

Despite being taught she was now enlightened and part of the universal consciousness she still felt an inner emptiness and searching. She cried out to the universe, asking to be shown the Truth.

Jesus appeared to her! She heard His audible voice asking her to read a Bible. Then He took her to the verse that emphasises Jesus and the Father are one. She realised she was not at ‘one’ with the universe as she’d been taught.

Instead, Jesus was calling her to be at one with Him and the Father, through the Holy Spirit. She had found the truth.

She gave her heart fully to Jesus. She saw that her spirit guide was actually a demon. Also, that the so called enlightenment she knew, was false and she had not experienced completeness through it. It did not offer her that personal intimacy and wholeness that a relationship with Jesus brings.
