I believe there is an immediate 2 fold problem regarding the occult and new age practices.
1. A lot of churches simply will not address it, they would rather play political and racial games.
2. The internet can allow any crank to set up a website, call himself ‘Magus Guru Bob’ and distribute the greatest garbage under the guise of ‘forbidden knowledge’.
It actually horrifies me as I have examined these ‘texts’ and I could only come to the following conclusions about their authors, they are either;
a) Insane
b) Trolls
c) Hustlers seeking quick and easy money and celebrity
d) Murderous psychopaths like those who give out recipies on how to cook drugs and make bombs with the full intention that those who use these recipies will either end up dead or maimed
e) Hardcore Satanists who are ‘bonejacking’ people by getting them possessed for demons they serve
Just because someone has some sort of ‘magical spell’ which they have made on a PDF document with fancy text and write it with a ‘magical language’ (usually Enochian) doesnt mean it will be beneficial to the ‘user’. Rule of thumb is if you dont understand what you are saying – dont say it!

Hi Leon, I understand what you mean. I agree with your points 1. and 2. It’s very sad, and does not reflect what Jesus in His great love, wants for the world.
a) I’m not so sure about insanity, I think 99% of them are sane.
b) I guess some will be engaging in troll-like behaviours, coz that happens with everything.
c) Yeah, some of them will be hustlers, just out for money!
d) I think a small % may have a narcissistic sociopathic personality, or even murderous psychopathic personality, but I think that sadly the majority of them believe what they teach is true and for the overall ultimate good. The Apostle Paul came to mind. He murdered Christians before he met Jesus on the Damascus Road & then Jesus transformed his life. So, there’s always hope for Occultists, Satanists, etc, anyone in fact, to come to Christ.
e) I’ve heard from some Ex Satanists, that yes, they pretended to be just New Agers, yet they did things like encouraged folks to meet with them and meditate, so that they could put demons inside them, whilst their minds were ‘open’. Like a spiritual rape, if there’s such a phrase!
f) Yes, sadly, too many folks are gullible and naive, not researching things properly, but just trusting anything ‘spiritual’, as long as it ‘looks & feels good!’
